CATHERINE A. FOLEY, Esq., is an associate with the firm licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining Weiss & Paarz, Catherine worked for eight years at a prominent Philadelphia personal injury firm where she was a part of several trial teams that secured multi-million-dollar verdicts against Johnson & Johnson on behalf of women injured by defective medical devices. Prior to her work representing injured plaintiffs, Catherine spent several years at a civil litigation and medical malpractice defense firm defending medical malpractice actions including the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers in professional liability claims.
Catherine earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she was a recipient of the Law Merit Space Scholarship and was recognized for her outstanding trial advocacy and legal writing skills. While in law school, Catherine interned at the Federal Defenders Office and clerked for Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Teresa Sarmina. Catherine received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Sonoma State University in Northern California where she was raised.
