MICHAEL L. WEISS, Esq., a member of the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars since 1981, achieved his first jury verdict in excess of a million dollars in 1990.  Mr. Weiss is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate. He also achieved certification from the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney in 1986, the first year in which he was eligible. He was re-certified in 1994, 2000, 2007, and most recently in 2017.

Based on polling other attorneys, Mr. Weiss has been named a “Super Lawyer” in Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice in every year since polling began in 2005.  He is also listed in Best Lawyers in America, the oldest peer review publication of the legal profession, under the specialty of Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice.  Best Lawyers in America compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting peer review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.  Mr. Weiss is also rated “AV” by Martindale Hubbell, the highest available rating for legal ability and ethical standards. Mr. Weiss was selected for membership in the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 in 2021.

Mr. Weiss obtained a B.S. in Psychology from Syracuse University, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Villanova Law School. He is a Third Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do karate, and in his spare time enjoys playing chess and jazz piano.
