Mr. Weiss is certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate. He achieved certification from the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney in 1986, the first year in which he was eligible, and has actively maintained re-certification since. In 2025 alone, Mr. Weiss recovered nearly $40,000,000 on behalf of patients with medical malpractice cases.

Mr. Weiss obtained a B.S. in Psychology from Syracuse University, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Villanova Law School. He is a Third Degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do karate, and in his spare time enjoys playing chess and jazz piano.
