SARAH A. WEISS, ESQ. is an associate with the firm licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Background, Honors & Professional Memberships

Ms. Weiss is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of George Washington University, where she was awarded Phi Beta Kappa honors. She majored in Psychology with a concentration in Cognitive Neuroscience and a minor in Mind-Brain Studies. After college and before deciding to pursue a legal career, she spent time managing a cognitive neuroscience research lab which focused on attention and cognition.

Ms. Weiss graduated from Rutgers University Law School, completing her course load in two years while on a full academic merit scholarship. During law school, she earned the First Year Writing Award given to an outstanding student in each section. Ms. Weiss served as a teaching assistant in both Contracts and Legal Writing. She was honored to be chosen to represent Rutgers in a national baseball arbitration competition and have an article which she authored on New Jersey’s legal duties in the face of climate change chosen for publication by the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. Ms. Weiss graduated Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Order of the Coif (top 10%).

Ms. Weiss’s professional associations include the New Jersey Association for Justice; Pennsylvania Association for Justice; American Bar Association; Pennsylvania State Bar Association; New Jersey State Bar Association; Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.

Since 2021, Ms. Weiss was selected has been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the field of Medical Malpractice throughout both states in which she practices, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This achievement is exclusive to just 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40 practicing within a state. Ms. Weiss was also selected for inclusion into the Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers group in Pennsylvania by The National Trial Lawyers. Membership in this exclusive organization is by invitation only and is limited to the top 40 attorneys in each state or region who have demonstrated excellence in their practice.

When she is not working, Ms. Weiss can be found spending time with her children, cooking, and enjoying the great outdoors.
