Each year, Weiss & Paarz offers a rising star scholarship of $1,000 to an exceptional student starting or continuing their education anywhere in the United States of America.

A rising star is someone with a remarkable work ethic, impressive leadership qualities, and the ability to stay strong in the face of adversity. If this sounds like you or someone you know, find out how to apply for this opportunity below.

As medical malpractice attorneys, fighting for victims of preventable catastrophic injuries regardless of financial means is what Weiss & Paarz does best. It is with this same spirit that we believe financial restrictions should never get in the way of the pursuit of academic excellence. We understand that America’s youth has the ability to better our world through outstanding moral character, commitment to improving our communities, and a dedication to higher education.

We are excited to announce the sixth year of this scholarship opportunity. Scholarships will be awarded each year to a student who demonstrates all of the following characteristics:

  • Financial need
  • Exceptional work ethic
  • Strength in the face of adversity
  • Outstanding academic achievement
  • Commitment to the local community and charitable giving
  • Ability to lead others
  • Overall moral character

Special consideration will be given to students who have an interest in law. Students must submit their application by 09.30.22 and all applications must include the following:

  • Curriculum Vitae or Resume listing work experience, educational background, and high school and college grade point average and class rank, if applicable;
